37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

The harvest has dimensions in this end of age, the enemy who sow the bad seed is the devil, the harvest will be reaping in the end time that is the end of this world.

36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
